Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. Aero Ektar 24inch (600mm) f:6 astrocamera
The Aero-Ektars are lenses for aerial reconnaissance photography made by Kodak. Most were made for War World II. For their time, the Aero-Ektars were very advanced technology with a new optical design and use of the latest optical cement, coatings and high-tech optical glasses.
Even by today's standards, these lenses are exceptionally fast for the size negatives they were designed to cover.
The Aer-Tessar is professionally mounted on an orange Celestron tube. Aero-Ektar is part of an astrocamera to be used with a Hasselblad 6x6 film back.
The astrocamera can easily be transformed into a wide field refractor. Makes a fine 4" refractor.
